I know. It gets very confusing and takes a while to learn. Let’s all be careful with info we give out. I have made mistakes too, believe me. Perhaps I should make a post on uses of different salt. :)
 
When my danio died, I believe he had had dropsy. No other fish were affected. His whole belly was swollen and he had some red marks near the head and gills, I'll see if I took a pic. Since swelling is part of that, would epsom salt have been good to use then? To relieve some pressure?

And yes, this breed can most definitely handle salt. Unfortunately both my QT tanks are occupied at the moment, but I can consolidate my two shrimp tanks and use that for the time being. Maybe I'll get some cool color morphs if the red cherries breed with the blue :)
