Im finally ready to go :D . Finished my exams and ready to start cycling in the next few days (fishless).
Its a 100litre tank with a 1-3mm round gravel. 'Caves' and bogwood roots with a few plants and plenty of open but broken up (not straight lines) space

7x glowlight tetra
2x coolie loach
3x schwartz cory or dwarf otto

They wont all go in at once but do you think they would be ok together?
Any comments on choice/numbers etc?

Finally - i have an internal cannister type filter - should i leave a clear area around the intakes? plant free etc? Should i ensure no caves backs onto it?

Thanks for your help - after the cycling, and the holiday ill be posting excited fish pics i hope,
Philip

Your list of fishes sound fine to me, however a word of caution. With an internal filter and Khulies-not a good combo. You will probably need to raise your internal filter about 3" from the gravel. Khulies love to get themselves into the intake grilles. You will be lucky to see your K. The others are fine.
Good luck.
