I'm after a book which covers most freshwater tropicals. I have a enclyopedia which covers quite a few but it's marine aswell which i didn't notice at the time.

Having L numbers for plecos is a preferance, maybe just a book on catfish and plecos as good information for alot just sin't easily availible quickly!!

any suggestions forgood fish/pleco books? need sto be a UK source.

I can't give you any titles...

However, my library has quyite a few books on cats and on tropical fish in general. You might want to try your library, yourself. If you find a book that you think might serve as a good reference for future problems or fish searching, then buy it from a bookstore. :dunno:

Sorry if this doesn't help at all. :p

hmmm bringing myself to going to the library......it could be the end for me :/

I saw a add in PFK mag that had aqua logs but that place didnt do mail order

A large range of Aqualog books can be purchased at Tropical Fish Finder in their books section.

We purchased our L-Numbers book from there, it was quite expensive at £45 but well worth it. If that sounds too expensive, there's also a Datz guide to L-numbers for £19.50 which still covers the same range as the Aqualog.

We also purchased our Aqualog pufferfish guide from there.

cheers they had had them up for 25 so i'll shop around if it's the same book.

does it cover catfish aswell atall?

that datz one seemed like a confusing layout, whats the 45 squid one like? does it give some more basic info that that?
