Are there any options, other than taking a fish back to the pet shop, to reduce aggression from the yellow lab? I have a MELANOCHROMIS auratus living with it as i was told they were compatible (Guess not) and they had been brought up together. Greatly Appreciated.

are they only a few fish in a big tank
i know what your thinking how come they don't fight
in the shop its because in the shop they over stock
with riffs and malawi's so no one can set up a territory
if no one can set a territory then there is no aggression

Yes along with a spotted dora, Thank you for your help. I guess the only option will be to add more fish or remove the ones present. They seem to be more aggressive under full lighting than blue 'nighttime' lighting - would there be any reason for this?
