First Time Medicating A Tank

i just wanna make sure ive done this right here lol, my first time medicating a tank and ive added 5ml of interpet #10 Methylene Blue to my 5 gal tank (as stated dosage) and it has dyed the tank water a really thick and dark blue and i can barely see in it, is this right? and will it clear up or only with water changes?

It will clear, yes it does send the tank water really dark blue at first, takes a while to clear though.
