Hi,

I have just ordered 2 tropica plants from "aqua essentials" and just wondering how it works.

If they post a plant, its going to be in a box in the dark for a couple of days, do they arrive nearly dead or healthy???

sorry if it sounds like a dumb question.

And do I just plant them when i get them???

They were Cryptocoryne beckettii "petchii"

Thanks but the sound does not work on the clip.

Edit: sorry guess I dont need sound when there is subtitles lol, are all the "crypts" the same for planting, the one on the video its a crypt but not the same type as mine.

thanks, big help

yes, if there is a large root network which there probably is cut about 1-2cms of the bottom which promotes new growth. also any dodgy looking leaves need to be removed.

They are shipped in a fish bag (without water) in a cardboard box to prevent them being crushed. Plants always have 'reserve's of energy so even though they are in the dark for a few days they will survive. The bag helps to keep the moisture in.

Plant them as soon as possible.
