Brings back fond memories of the only time I got to play on escalators as a kid was when we visited the big smoke of Brisbane, Mum once asked me why I liked them so much and in true kid honesty I said becuase its a free ride and we didn't have escalators in Gove . I should point out we only went to Brisbane around once a year so it really was an outing.

As someone who's been there.Walking up, a down escalator is about as much fun as you're going to have there.
