I have a firemouth, a red jewel and a neon blue avara and a pimelodus ornatus what else is compatible? It’s a 120gallon tank

bumpy bumpy bump, sorry, just bumping this up so someone might answer it :)

Depending on pH and GH (general hardness), you could possibly try some of the bigger barbs like filament barbs, or perhaps some rainbowfish. If you want more cichlids perhaps Cichlasoma spilurum or sajica, or some of the other smaller Cichlasoma species.

Whatever you add, you will have to watch the jewel cichlid because they can be pretty agro when they mature. It's also a good idea to rearrange the tank decor just before you add the new fish so the old established territories no longer exist and the new fish have a better chance of finding somewhere to hang out.

The following link has information on rainbowfish. They do best in groups of 6 or more. The bigger species should be fine assuming the pH isn't too low (try to keep it around 7.0 if possible). Feed rainbowfish with some plant based fish foods and try to have even numbers of males (eg: 2, 4, 6) that are a similar size.
