Good evening all,
My larger, male firemouth has started chasing the smaller female firemouth every time he sees her and appears to try and bite her (but fails as she is faster)...
He shows no signs of aggression what so ever to any other fish in the tank, often sharing sinking pelets with my corys... but the second the female comes out of hiding, he chases her back in...
Is this normal behavior towards a female? or just a species to species thing? or is it mating behavior? Or does he just not like her....
