like the title says, my two fire eels started fighting and before i realised, one was lying at the bottom already. i took it out and put it into my other community tank. i think the damage it took is quite heavy.

its body is covered with small bite marks here and there (that itself isnt so bad) but it can barely swim properly. it tries to swim and it results in it going 360. all he does now is float here and there and goes back down to the bottom assuming a inverted U (head and tail on the tank floor).

breathing wise he looks normal. gills and all still moving as per normal (or alittle faster).

i dont know whether it'd make it but i'll do all i can to try to get it better. anyone?

thanks for the reply.

not taking food either. i tried putting live bloodworms infront of him. nothing.

If there been fighting badly sounds like it damaged it swim bladder if its struggling to swim.
and keep balance.
Being pale as you know is a sign of stress.
If he's going stiff sounds like he's dying sorry.
If he improves you could add some melafix for his cuts and wounds.

back from school and he's lifeless on the tank floor :(

thanks for everyone's inputs

Or bless him not sounding to good.
Can you issolate him.
