Wow, it's been a long time. I'm back though and looking for some advice.
Thanks to the help of you guys I got my 60 gallon cycled back in January I believe and it's been running great ever since. The stock I decided to go with was 2 Ctenopoma and 6 Syno. Petricola. These fish are all doing fantastic, the plants are growing well and the parameters are spot on. Now I attempted to add polypterus senegalus several different times but I just couldn't find a way to get those fish to survive. It was extremely frustrating and I've decided to finally move on after several failed attempts.
So my question now is what fish (i'd prefer an individual larger fish rather than a school) would be a good addition to my tank. My temp stays at around 78F. My pH is 7.8 and I'd describe my lighting as moderate with plenty of hiding spots. I don't know if this matters but I have 2 heaters and a fluval 306 canister filter.
