So, my sister finally moved out of the house after spending a fair lot of time mooching off of our parents and, because I have bad allergies and was living in a room with 6 birds, I have moved into her old digs. Since it is the only room in the house with climate control (always the same temp year round), I thought it would be a good room for my bettas (and cockroaches, and millipede) since they always end up too hot or too cold regardless of my heaters depending on what time of the year it is.
So, I bought this massive, industrial-looking thing of furniture to house my 7 betta tanks, plus the cockroach tank and millipede tank. And, I bought new plants for all of my boys. The result?

If you're wondering, the 1g is a millipede, and not the giant african kind... I mean the one inch long new england kind. Just so you know I'm not keeping any of my boys in a little tank ;)

Shokora got his own shelf because his tank has an awkward lid and I couldn't position it right on the main piece of furniture.

Finally, Clarence looking all alive and well in his 5g home, since I promised a picture last time I posted about him.

Look lovely, nice and colourful.

Sorry that this doesn't have much to do with the fish... but your camera is AMAZINGly clear! Can you tell me what make and model it is?

Nice setup by the way ;)

It looks great!! I miss having my bettas in my bedroom, it was
kind of soothing to lay there and fall asleep watching them.

Great betta setup! The last picture is wonderful; good composition and good pose by Clarence. B)

I'm insanely jealous! :D Looks like a great set up! I'm sure your guys love it!

I personally like many separate little tanks instead of the barracks look or big tanks with dividers. Plus you get to have different decors in each. And no chance of bettas jumping dividers and fighting. Again good job, RandomWiktor! ;)

^ I agree. Several fish in one tank equals several sick fish if one gets sick, and frankly I think bettas over-exhert themselves when they can see thier neighbors less than an inch away anyways. Since all of my boys are rescues, and have had past health problems, they have weak systems and don't respond great to stress, nor are they all that resilient in the face of infection.

Anyhoo, thanks for all of the great comments! I feel luffed. The camera is a Canon PowerShot S70. In other words, its a camera I could never afford if a lovely photographer friend wasn't retiring it from his collection.

Nice setup, I love it!

Btw.... do you read Jack by any chance? :p
