Final Low Tech Planted Tank Question

I know your probably tired of my questions about low tech planted tanks, but I have one final one. How often should I do a partial water change? According to DW and TB I should do one every like couple of months or so. Is this a good idea? I will not be using co2, but I will be using regular gravel with root tabs, and weekly Flourish doses.

some people suggest every week just as with co2 enriched tanks. some people say every month or so.

I say look at why people suggest what they do and make an informed decision.

If you don't wanna do all the reading then my suggestion is do one every 2nd-3rd week or so. I just don't trust it for a month without a water change, but thats just my personal opinion really.
