i like the ones that stick to the side of the glass... kinda look like a cylinder.

horrible ''pic'' but hopefully u know what i mean..

i find those filters dont create much irritation on the surface, and i get oily water

thanx for that, the problem is i want a canister filter but don't like the idea of spending $150+

i like the

that one is for a small tank.. but thats what i meant... i really like those filters

and by the way, what site did you gat that pic from, is there any info?

hagen.com... i like them cuz all u have to do really is take out the sponges and clean em every month or 2... u can add carbon or whatever else u want to also.. but its a cheap and easy way , and they work well

or there is another option, i am actually replacing my ugf, is there a good filter that uses an air pump

i got the filters you like Leck but when you wash the sponges make sure its in water from your tank ebcause if its in tap or other water it will kill your bacterica that you need for your fish

I've been using the same AquaClear 200 unit on my 35 gallon for 10 years with no mechanical problems at all. It think that says a lot about the quality of the product.
