the colour has really come back in those salvinis mate :good: lets hope they behave

that humbug hasnt moved are you sure its ok

you can get lost mate :D its moving now

and since the lottis have learnt that flaring does nothing they have all been fine and even doing a mini shoal with the jd's

looking good mate , but as matt said watch those salvinis . as im sure you know they can be somewhat "boisterous"

I am massively keen on setting up a SA cichlid tank, but since I only have room for a 33g tank presently it's a no go.

Why am I telling you this I hear you cry? Because I want you to know that I'm very envious! Great looking fish.

let me tell you if your setting one up eventually you will have casulties on the way but its all trial and error and will be watching these like a hawk for the next few days

you could still do it , just on a smaller scale with something like apistos . still got the cichlid personality but in a smaller package

well mate that looks fantastic

I love cichlid tanks the Elliotis look great

Simon :good:

Unless i'm mistaken, technically the biggest fish in their are your clown loach? Although the humbug may just beat it to that title?

Cracking set-up, loving the variety in there. Makes a change to the other cichlid set-ups which always seem to consist of the same candidates :good:

Obligatory compliments go to the Jacks  I really really do have an obsession with them  Kudos.

either the clowns or the choc cichlid mate humbugs only get to around 6"
