Hi,

My female swordtail gave birth. Once I removed her from the breeder tank into the normal tank, I noticed she has a white spot on her mouth. She fought me in catching her. Maybe thought she hurt herself banging against the breeder. The water parameters are good and she is the only one like that

probably a fat lip from swimming into something

do big daily water changes and gravel cleans for a week and it should be fine.

if it gets worse, add some salt and post more pictures (without airbubbles).
use 2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt (aquarium salt) for every 20 litres (5 gallons) of water. Keep salt in tank for 2 weeks.

Hi, can I put her back in the regular tank with the other fishes which are also swordtails? Will the salt be ok for the rest of the fishes or should I keep her alone?

Assuming it hasn't gotten worse, put the fish back in the main tank and do water changes on that.

salt is fine at the dose rate above (2 heaped tablespoons per 20 litres).
