Sorry.. I have a very novice and quite naive question to ask!

If a female betta has a pregnant belly and haven't mate yet, will she be 'unpregnant' and back to normal??

doesn't look prego to me... either over fed = bloating and or an internal parasite.

cut the feeding for 5 days.. if she doesn't slim down then its internal parasite; if her poo is white and or stringy etc.

post the stats of the tank, tank size and what she is kept with. how long the tank has been up etc etc.

Shes eggy, she will absorb the eggs. Or she is bloated. In which case fast the tank

Females will eject eggs in most cases, sometimes they get eggbound and can die. When females reach sexual maturity they will produce eggs all the time and they need to get rid of them from time to time. So dont worry about that. That is a beautiful female, however I dont think she is full of eggs, looks like bloat to me.

Hi all!

Tks for the reply!

In this case, how do i treat bloatedness? I would not want to waste this beauty...
