Feeding

Wondering how much to feed 3 guppies and 3 tetras, and how often. At the moment i give them a pinch once a day for two days, then give a day without feeding and repeat

you should give them as much as they'll eat in a few minutes once or as much as twice a day---I can see fasting them occasionally---but every third day is a bit often especially considering how little you're feeding them---that's my opinion---others may vary

A pinch a day sounds fine to me, you don't have to fast that often if you don't want to. Most fast 1 day a week, but I don't think it's particularly harmful the way you've been doing it.

I feed up to 6 times a day, but a very, Very small amount. I think it's one of those things where there really is no single right way. If it works for you and your fish then don't change it.

I think your feeding routine is just fine. Remember that more can do more harm and that goes for everything else including humans

Well i got myself a syphon gravel cleaner today to give the bottom a clean and just wow.. the amount of left over food and other dirt that came out of the tank was more than i thought. I tend to brake the flakes up so, im going to try putting in whole flakes to see if it helps. but cheers with the advice guys!
