So I have 11 neon tetras and 7 guppies, and an ADF in a 29 gallon, but when I try and feed floating flakes the guppies eat it, and if i feed sinking pellets the frog will scare off the tetras and eat it first. How do i get my neon tetras to eat?

Crush the flake food up in between your fingers then feed it by putting your hand in the tank and swishing it around the fine particles will then be suspended in the water.

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

I would crush the flakes a bit as suggested by Itiwhetu, but just sprinkle them on the surface. Some will sink and the neons can eat that. The fish are unlikely to starve so don't worry too much about them if they don't get a good feed each day.

How long has the tank been set up for?
How often are you feeding the fish?
