So, I ordered a new fish for my tank and specified a size similar to the existing fish. I can only presume they didn't have sufficient stock so they sent me a fish from a few sizes up. The new fish is a beast! at least three or four times the size of my others but he's a fine specimen.
However, this is causing a problem for me at feeding time. I need to put enough food in the tank for this whale to get fed but the other fish are a lot smaller and faster and get to most of the food before him. Also, because he's so big, I'm increasing the amount of food I'm putting in the tank which then runs the risk of the smaller fish being overfed.
Anyone got any ideas?
