Feeding babies

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how long i should wait before try to feed my baby convicts they are 6 days old and swim in and encloused area where there parents protect them. Another question do u think that they find stuff to eat in the gravel i see them often pecking at the gravel. any help is appreciated thanks

I would start feeding them. Crushed up flake food is good.


Yea, they'll eat leftovers in the gravel and what the parents spit out but I would add a pinch of the crushed flake food or fry food to know for sure they're eating.

Agreed! Make sure you crush it up real good though!!!
