My bettas and crawfish a while back would eat them every now and then. they are native to Washington so I'd find the eggs locally.And also seem to be a good source of food for a rope fish...

I collected them locally in Washington too (tons in our pond!)
I went out to Tahuya river, over by belfair. beautiful place and clean water.

Out of the options, I chose bladder snail, since one has apparently invited herself into my new tank. But really, I love my mystery snail, Austin, best.

@FishandBirdLover Colin is well known as a snail hater. In his opinion they should all be obliterated from fish tanks
