Uhh...koi are NOT small. they can reach several feet.


also you didnt state whihc type of catfish. but out of the ones on that poll that I have kept/observed, I like pearl danios best.

I personally wouldn't class Goldfish or Koi as small or even smallish
and a lot of catfish and cichlids get quite big.

You missed the various bottom and algae feeders(ottos, cories) but we'll let it slide this time . I chose other tetras because my favorite are my white skirt tetras

I voted for guppy's, but I have only had short experience of Molly, Platy and Guppy. The guppy's seem to display so often that they are great fun to watch. I do however also really have a soft spot for my Bristle nose catfish, he is really cheeky and nearly always busy busy busy...

by gold danio do you mean the golden strain of zebras?
anyway you have missed loads
mine at the moment is danio roseus
but I'm really thinking about getting some fire ring danios.
