sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to post this.

I've got a 10 gallon tank. I want to half-way remodel it.sort of. the tank only has 2 real plants right now, and they are kind of pathetic. the rest are plastic, and I want to replace every single one with a real plant. my limits for this is petsmart and petco. those are the only pet/fish stores in my area.

the stocking for this tank is:
3 guppies(that I am trying to breed)
1 otto cat
2 neon tetras
2 harlequin rasboras

yes, yes i know those are supposed to be schooling fish. please do not bug me about that right now. I will probably try and get rid of the neons and rasboras. and I will probably get another otto or two.
which kinds of plants should I get? what kinds are good for guppy fry?

Could you post a picture on what the aquarium looks like now?

For sparing the maximum number of guppy fry I like lots of hornwort free floating and duckweed or salvinia on the surface.  Guppy fry will spend a lot of time at the surface looking for food if they have cover.
Your choice of plants also depends heavily on the amount of light you have.  I do suggest you check online sources to order from once you decide what you want- the selection and probably quantity/quality you will get for your money will be better.
