Hi, yesterday i made myself a DIY co2 reactor using yeast and soda bottles. Problem is that over night a large amount of yeast mixture has entered my tank and made the water very cloudy. First thing i did this morning was to do a 50% water change however the water is still extremly cloudy. Is this going to kill my fish????? should i move the fish into another tank and empty the tank completely and then re-fill??? or should i just let the filter absorb the yeast in the filter wool and then clean the wool????

Really not sure what to do and i dont want to lose my fish. Please please please help urgently

Do a gravel vac to get it out of the gravel pult plenty of wool in the filter and keep changing it.

If it is possible (and feasible) to move the fish, I would do this and move the existing filter with them. If not, you will need to carry out regular water changes - perhaps 15% twice a day, if possible, or larger amounts once a day until the water clears.

Good luck!

I would agree If possible move the fish if not do water changes of 20-40%
