I GOt MY first betta a red and blue crowntail with purple ends he has lived in the tank with 8 other fish (all of them golden Tetras) for about a month they get along fine together and one day i woke and found that he had no stomach and was bleeding he had fungus on it for a while but i then treated it with some aquarium salt and it suprisingly went away but there is still a big chunk missing from him and i need lots of help its been like this for almost a week! He wont eat and lays at the bottom of the tank all day and vary rarley comes up for air! Please help Please please Please!!
HELP!~!!!

To be honest i would just continue to add the salt bit by bit and see how he goes, do you know what coursed this... was it the tetras ? Im sorry but you have to think the negative things that could happen and be prepared for them etc.. I dont believe he will make it through but fingers crossed for him... keep us posted, one more things has he been put into a hospital tank ?

First off, photo needed. We need to see whether it's a healable injury or if he's not going to make it.

Secondly, isolate him. Can you get a breeding trap? Like the ones used to breed guppies? This will keep him in the warm tank (it is heated, right?) and will keep him away from nibby tetras. It will also make it easier for him to reach the surface to breathe.

How often do you do water changes in his tank? Do you have a test kit for ammonia and nitrite? Is the tank filtered? He's going to need very, very clean water to have a chance of surviving.

Add the recommended dose of aquarium salts after every water change (remember, it needs to be added once and then stays in the water) and I would also treat with an anti-bacteria med to help prevent infection setting in. Myxazin is a good one. If you use Melafix, use a 1/3 dose as it can hurt bettas due to their labyrinth organ.

please do not use melafix. bad bad bad for bettas. can cause dire results, especially if the fish is already, clearly, stressed out from injury.
i am also highly doubtful this was caused by tankmates (if indeed his stomach is "ruptured"). likely some sort of internal bacterial issue or even parasites.
i would certainly isolate him if possible in a breeding trap (even make your own by using a clean plastic container with holes poked in it(from the inside so there arent sharp bits against the sick fish) and then figuring a way to keep it at the top of the tank with clips or something. will keep him away from the tankmates and allow him to be closer to the surface to breath easier. a picture would be very helpful! keep that water clean with plenty of water changes. is he still eating? able to swim properly?
sounds serious by your description. he may not make it regardless of what you do.
all the best!
cheers
