Just a question before I get a betta. what should I have in a emergency betta fish kit? I have salt for saltwater tank for wounds and stuff, but what else do I need?

An extra net could be helpful! When you have multiple tanks, it is good to have multiple nets!

The only things you need to keep in the cupboard are salt (plain sodium chloride) and water conditioner.

Make sure that any decor in the tank is smooth. Use old pantyhose to rub over any decor and if the pantyhose snag on it, either smooth off the rough place or don't use it. If there will be artificial plants, silk are better than plastic as they have sharp edges. Live plants are even better.
