Really I thought they had them with small electric yellows in a video and at the pet shop also.

What about maingano cichlids with peacocks, rustys and electric yellows. And would 1 peacock work?

Did you ever post your tank length/height/depth? It’s a lot easier for us to figure out how to do this. :)

The principle with African rift lake cichlids is that only fish from the rift lake(s) can be in the same tank. Moving beyond this absolute, it then depends upon the species.

They should all be fine if the tank is big enough and has lots of hiding places.

When you get rift lake cichlids, try to add them all together at the same time so they can settle in and establish their own territories. If you have fish in the tank and add new ones, the original fish will consider the new fish as intruders and be more likely to attack them.

one of each should be fine but if you have pairs and they breed, they could take over the tank.
