what is 'EI-ing'?

It was mentioned in a post thus: 'EI-ing as in sticky above'

a sticky are the topics at the top of each forum section, sectioned off with a line. They are important topics which should all be read basically.

EI is a form of fertilising plants, and there is a sticky called the EI method (or something) at the top of this forum.

I know what a sticky is, I just did not know which one, becasue I did not know what an EI is (not being one of those born with that knowledge).
