Eheim 2026 Hose Sizes?

I wanted to go after work and just get some generic clear hosting from the hardware store and needed to know the size, but everywhere i look it's all different sizes...

Some even say 12/16 Size....

Basically i got a new stand and wanna plumb all my stuff like my Filter and uv sterilizer and my regulator... But need more tubing...

Some people say you use a diff size for your inlet than your outlet.. but i am pretty sure i was only supplied one size...

anyone?

i've already done all the searches on it... that website states

EHEIM quality hose 12/16mm

so which one is it lol...maybe i'm stuipd here..

Inside diameter 12mm, outside diameter 16mm.

Or cut 1" (or less) from your existing hose and take it with you!!!

1" aint gonna hurt.

Here in UK I can normally visually see and for £2 maximum per metre it doesn't matter too much if you're wrong cos you know for the next time.

It depends on what fittings you using i guess

Just say 12/16 and stores will know what you need

This pic of my 2026 will show you why it is an id/od thing. The clips have to fit a certain outside diameter, the part that it fits to must be a certain inside diameter;

Sorry to confuse matters, but everyone is talking about 12/16mm tubing, but on Tolaks picture of the same filter the tubing says on it 16/22mm.

I'm confused!

12/16 is for the smaller Classics & Pro series, the larger Classics & ProII's use larger hose.
