Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!

My female parrot cichlid will not stop laying eggs every month. She gets so meannnn when she lays them and i cant even walk up to the tank without her wanting to attack me. There is a blue diamond discus fish in there with her right now & a pleco algae eater. There in a 55 gallon tank. She does not bother my discus when he comes around actually, but if my hand goes in there, shes ready to attack! Is there anyway i can deter her from laying them? I dnt think she paired with my discus, he just kinda hangs out & chills.
