I just checked on his he died during the night. The temp was perfect and I have been checking the water. I bought a kit for him and. New heater. Sadly he didn't make it.

Many shops have an at least 30 day guarantee. Think they require the dead fish & a water sample.

Oh, I thought by frozen foods people meant blister packs of brine shrimp & bloodworms.

That is correct but there are other types of frozen fish food too including rotifers, daphnia, mysis shrimp, marine mix, etc. And you can buy raw/ cooked prawn and fish from supermarkets or fishing stores and use that to feed the fish.
