Easy plants to take care of for a 5 gallon

On the tank I'm setting up now I'm going to use some fishing lime and tie it on! But glue also works just as well but it'll be an hour or 2, possibly a day before the glue sets... That's why I'm going to use fishing line.
So I’m guessing you use super glue to stick it to rocks and things like that?
 
All java ferns and java swords are substrate plants. Aqua soil is always the best, but other options would be river sand and possible pea gravel. Fine grained grit works well. With plants the finer the better.
No no no!! Java ferns MUST be put on decor! Amazon swords must be in substrate
 
@Guppynoob2008 I would also love to recommend the anubias species! They are beautiful slow hrowing plants that dont require ANYTHING special. Maybe a dim light but thats it! Same needs as java fern really... Also, here is a super cool plant that will help to filter your water its red root floaters! They are super pretty AND they are fast growing which will mean that it'll suck up all the excess ammonia and nitrates! Now this doesnt mean to overstock or skip cycling... Its just helping a bit
