Hi, I have had my 215l tank up and running for 6 months now and had no fish deaths. I have lost 3 female guppies in 3 days and 2 more are swimming head up. All have been pregnant. All water readings are as they should be 25% water changes done weekly. Can anyone please help.

Do you have aeration in the tank? Is there something disrupting the surface water to allow for proper oxygen and gas exchange?

Do your fish seem bloated? Instead of being pregnant?

I have recently had a problem with floating weed, it seems to multiply daily at a vast rate. The fish could be bloated so have not fed today. My filter is a overhead trickle filter which gives plenty airation and have changed some media and cleaned the rest in the correct way. I have not lost anymore fish today but 3 guppies dont look to well. Thanx for your help Fiskies.

What do you feed them and how often do you normally feed ?

What other fish do you keep in there with them ? Is your PH etc reading normal ? Temp ?
