Hi,
I have had bacopa in my 52 litre tank before but it lost it's leaves and went weak and was slowly dying, I bought a different type of plant that looks similar to bacopa, mabye a different type, and it is doing the same, my fish don't eat plants but I do have a few pesky snails that got in, I kill them on sight though so there can't be many.
I haven't added any fertilisers or anything.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, Chris

I always thought as Bacopa as a shallow water plant for ponds and bogs maybe im wrong im sure someone will come along and let you know,YL.

I have two types of bacopa that I bought from Aqua essentials.... its my favorite one as I've found it a pretty impossible to do wrong plant. I've got pest snails and don't fertilize anything and I've never had so much as a dieing leaf.

Have you maybe medicated your tank with something?

Hi,
I haven't put any kind of medication in for a long time
I've never use fertilisers
Thanks for replies.
Chris

How is your lighting? I have bacopa monnieri and I find that it needs a moderate to high amount of lighting.

Hi,
they are fairly new I've had them a few weeks,
and my lighting is quite dim, that may be the reason
thanks, Chris
