Dwarf Lilly Help

Ok i bought some bulbs from walmart about 2 mounths ago and now the bulb has some leaves But its just growing these 3 big ass ugly leaves and it alread has a lilly pad at the top of my tank and another one is on the way. How can i make it produce more than just three leaves and less lillly pads? If the picture works sorry about it being so blurry.

Mine took ages to settle in, but once it started producing decent numbers of leaves I started to trim the longer stems, leaving only the shorter leaves. Technically it is supposed to grow like yours is doing, lilies should put leaves to the surface, but you can apparently 'train' them bu taking off the longer stems and encourage it to grow shorter leaves underwater: however leaves will be as large as the ones which are currently reaching the surface, so you're unlikely to get loads of small leaves underwater.
