Dwarf Hairgrass

Have got some dwarf hairgrass to plant but wanted to know how deep to plant it. Have i got to leave the crown uncoverd likr vallis or can it be planted deeper.

i dont know what vallis is but i planted mine deep and it seems to be takeing find so i dont think it matters - personal experience only ;p

edit: i do know what vallis is... i recently got rid of it and no i dont think hairgrass does

you need to plant it about an inch to half an inch into the substrate, and then trim the tops of it. This will give it that little push and help it spread.

i trim them just before i put them in... saves it clogging up the filter or going all over the tank

sorry, i meant to say, trim before you put in. If they are already in then trim, keep the filter off and scoop out the remains with a net.
