Hi all, I am fairly new to the fish hobby and I have noticed that one of my Dwarf Gourami seems to have scales missing on their head. What could be causing this?

I don't think they are being bullied because the tank is very peaceful (2 x dwarf gourami, 2 x albino corydora, 6 x neon tetra, 6 x copper tetra, 2 x platy, a vampire/African fan shrimp, amano shrimp and a pleco).
Thank you.

How old are these fish and what are the water parameters, please
They're around 3 months old and the parameters were fine when checked a few days ago (can't remember exactly) will do another test soon to let you know.

Hi water parameters are:

GH 180 (live in a hard water area), carbonate hardness 120, pH 8, no2 0, no3 40

Ah OK thank you, I have recently got some drift wood and let it release the tannins in the tank in the hope of softening so hoping that will work. I'll see what else I can get to soften the water too. I have a PH adjuster that I will pop in as well.
