I saw someone selling drop checkers and was giving away a colour chart for what the colour drop checker solutio should be for normal co2. I did not get a chart with mine, so looking at the chart another seller was showing I made one in photoshop for my use, I have attached a picture below, would this colour chart be near on correct or is it totally wrong  getting ready for the abuse on my artistic skills here

btw still a newb at co2 stuff so please dont flame me.

if it is completly wrong is there one i can download and print off.

Disregard the chart, fill your drop checker with 4DKH water and bromothymol blue and then aim for a lime green colour, or 6.5 on the chart above.

Thanks for that. I got me 4dkh water off a member on this forum and using low ph stuff (Bromo blue) from my api test kit , read that is ok to use and the colour im getting at the moment in my drop checker is somewhere between the 6.5 and 6.8 but nearer to the 6.5 so i am probably getting enough co2. the fish seem happy enough with it, now to see how the plants react over the next few weeks.

Its a good idea to place the drop checker in different places around the tank to make sure CO2 distribution is good. Leave atleast 2hours between each new position

ok will start moving it around tomorrow, my co2 comes on at 12pm goes off at 8pm, lights come on at 2pm and go off around 10pm. I will start moving the drop cheacker around 4 pm so i should be able to check a few different parts of the tank. thanks
