I have what I think I've narrowed down to a dragon flame/tounge. It wasn't listed under any name, but I believe I've ID'd it from the picture below. While at the store it seemed to be flourishing, it's not doing so well in my tank and is constantly dropping leaves all over the tank floor. I've tried plant food and 2 20% water changes this week but its still continuing to drop and look poor, however the leaves that are sitting above the waters surface are bright green and healthy.

A friend suggested that it might not be am aquatic plant, but everywhere I've looked seems fine. Should I remove the plant all together, or will it eventually pick up and become healthy again? I only purchased it in the beginning for its long stems to provide hiding places for the female Betta in the tank.

The site that you borrowed the picture from describes 'Dragon Flame' (Hemiagraphis repanda) as a terrarium plant, so I don't think that you will have much luck with it in your aquarium.

So yeah, now that I've looked more into it, I've discovered that Dragon Flame doesn't belong in an aquarium. Thanks PETstock.. Atleast it was only $20 wasted for 4 bunches. Might just take plantlings from my Java Fern and replace it with that.
