For those of you out there who use laterite: Do you still dose ferts, or is that just overkill on nutrients? I'm just wondering if it's something I should be doing. If so, does anyone feel like recommending a good u.s. fert brand and how often they do dose. Sorry, if this has been covered before but I gave things a look and couldn't find much.

Thanks - Christian

Laterite is more for root feeding and does not enrich the watercolumn so yes you will need to dose ferts.

If your in the US try CSM+B from www.gregwatson.com/ its very cheap and very good. Loads of info on dosing it around also.

Luke-e, yes there is countless threads on re: mixing AE trace

Yeah, its very similar to the AquaEssentials Trace.

For UK:

Chris. With the above link, do you simply mix some of the powerder as instructed and then add it to the tank as instructed (in liquid form).
EDIT: THe trace mix which contains all of them is the one i'm on about.

Ok cheers guys... i'll do a search.
EDIT: Cant find any but it pretty much sums it up on the website anyway so i'd probably make a solution out of it :).
