Dormouse getting an upgrade!

this is Tone, an african pygmy dormouse!
I adopted him almost a year ago when his owner had to give him up after his partner died.
his age is uncertain and he doesn't trust humans very much.

I've had no luck finding him a playmate and I'm afraid he'd attack any other males...I'm way too used to mice.
his diet consists of organic seed and fiber pellets, plus bi-weekly fresh fruit, repashi insect jelly and mealworms as treats.

he's in a 10 gallon right now but I'll be updating him to a 20 gal once I have enough time to build one myself! I change his setup once every month to make him more excited to explore.

care wise, it's a less fussy sugar glider, but if I knew in hindsight that I wouldnt have been able to socialize with him at all I probably wouldn't have adopted him. i've tried really hard to get him to not be scared of my hand but the previous owner handled him quite roughly and since he had him for at least 6 months (he was a breeding adult when I got him), the damage he's done is irreversible I think. I'd say he's still living a decent life nonetheless
