Hi, just wndering if limnophilia floats, as I'm ordering some of helterskelter and I am planning at putting some at the back of my tanks and some floating and planted in my fry tanks [if it floats] and does it need co2 to live etc... as I hav normal lights and no co2 [I haven't got any planted tanks... yet :p]

it qont really grow if floating (if you are talking about limnophilia aromatica) as it is a stem plant. Therefore it really needs to be in the substrate where it can send out roots to get the nutrition and goodness :good:

L.aromatic is actually used in cooking, when you prune it, have a sniff of it and smell that lovely smell :good:

when i trimmed my bunches my house used to smell of the stuff for ages, it was like an airfreshner :shout:

just plant it and let it grow onch it reached the surface it will branch off and get thick and bushy, but it will not come out of the water
