Hi, wondering if anyone has experience with blue ocean shrimp? I am looking into them for my 5g planted tank. Pretty simple, but wondering what people think of them, food, habits, etc etc.
Ok! So no, I have not, I have kept community fish, and snails, that's it. So I am nervous about getting shrimp, and I want to get everything right! Thanks @gimme30 !No hands-on experience, but I did get to see them in person at the LFS the other day. They almost looked like they were glowing! I've got a small tank cycling and when it's matured that's exactly what I'm putting in it.
As far as I know care is the same as any other neo so easy peasy. You'll have better luck in a well-established, seasoned tank but they're pretty much a set and forget kinda critter. Have you kept shrimp before?
No they are freshwater. Like you already said, they are a color variation of neo shrimp. I have found them on lots of online stores.just to clarify... these are not salt water shrimp???
the little digging I've done, looks like they are a color variation of the blue neo shrimp???
