this is what i have now...

3 dwarf gouramis (1 male, 2 female)
7 white cloud minnows
3 corys
2 otos

and i'd like to add

1 kribensis
1 bolivian ram

and maybe a festivum

any thoughts would be appreciated

A festivum will get to big for your tank im afriad, a fish which will reach at least 6 inches.
The oto's and Cory's need to be in groups of 5/6. So i'd up there numbers first.

Then maybe a pair of Bolivian's rather than a Kribensis.

Hope I was of help.

James. :good:

Aye, avoid Kribensis in a tank with gouramis, and small tetras (or WCM like you have) as they tend to be very nippy.
Maybe get a pair of Keyholes instead?

I find my kribs and rams get on great with each other but my kribs chase my opaline gourami's and otto's quite bad so i agree with james, lose the krib and up the rams.Personal experience get sexable rams and 3 of, like the gourami's there better in a ratio of 2f:1m as the males can get quite aggressive when they want to mate.

Best of luck, the tank looks lovely.

ah, bummer. theres only one lfs around me that carries dwarf cichlids and most of the time they only have kribs. but i don't want to deal with aggression so i guess i'll have to find bolivian rams. i also read somewhere that festivums stay at 4 inches but i guess that was bad information. #40##, i wish ordering fish online wasnt so expensive.

thanks everybody

What about this:
3 dwarf gouramis (1 male, 2 female)
7 white cloud minnows
6 corys
2 otos (no point adding more as the new Otos will usually die, keep the one you have)
2 Bolivian Ram (pair 1M 1F)
