I just got a dwarf gourami on Saturday and He has been hiding ALOT he'll come out once in a while but not too much. Is this something to worry about or no?? thanks

Do you have him in with the danios? If so, I think they can be fin nippers. This could be why he is in hiding.

yeah i have him in with my danios but just last night I went upstairs to get in bed and he was swimming around happily (having races with his reflection ) and then he was doing the same this morning and afternoon so I think he is better

Sounds like it to me...guess he just needed some extra time to get comfy. Glad to hear he is doing so much better.
