Hi

I was thinking, if i was to make a DIY CO2 reactor thing for my 15 gal tank, will i need one or two 2L coke bottles? is there suggested limit of many reactor bottles for a certain sized tank?

or does it all really matter on how much yeast u put into the bottles?????? -_-

thx alot in advance

wait no i meant CO2 generator :S
Depends on the size of your tank. Take a look at this thread for more detailed info on how to build out a decent DIY CO2 system.

Determining how much yeast to use depends on a number of factors. Too much yeast will produce a lot of CO2, but not for long. Too little yeast may not produce enough CO2 for your particular tank.

Good luck!

Make sure you add some sort of safety inline device which stops the mixture getting into your tank - it can be lethal. Check out my other thread where all my fish died :(

too much yeast will make it react really quickly creating loads of CO2 then the mixture will overflow, maybe into your tank.
