"No one is a failure unless you try"
Yesterday I got an email from the owner of the rescue group I adopted my cat, Diva, from...
. I'll be getting Mia ASAP after the holidays.
Here's an updated pic of Mia that Sheila sent me:

Oh yeah, not an affectionate cat at all, mmhmm
Considering that I just went to visit Mia a week or two ago and had already decided to take her when I rehome Wren the foster kitten, there's no way I could let her go! Mia is Diva's sister and it was a hard decision between the two of them when I adopted Diva. Both used to be feral and are still very shy of strangers (but VERY affectionate with me,) they take a long time to warm up to most people, and because of this, are very hard to adopt out when there are three rooms full of other cats who want nothing more than to sit on your lap all day long. Most people don't even see Mia when visiting the shelter, as she remains hidden. Everyone working at the shelter figured Diva and Mia would be with them for years and years, if not forever, but as luck would have it they are exactly what I was looking for; adult cats, already difficult to adopt out since they are no longer cute little kittens, who just need some special considerationSamantha,
If ever you are thinking of Miss Mia, please let me know asap. She will soon be going to another sanctuary in Dallas.
Just wanted to give you that option- not trying to push her on you.
Sheila
