Are there any people that keep or breed discus on this site? I'm looking to set my discus tank back up again :D I sold my discus when i was going to sell my tropical tank when changing to salt water. I have still got it as i changed my mind about selling it...I want some Flame of the Forest discus and think i'm going to have ago at breeding them :hyper:
Any tips?

cheers will

What size is your tank will and what are your water conditions. Two important considerations. But as you've had Discus before I'm sure you will know the basics. Just remember to start with 6+ of young fish in a minium of 260 litres tank. With adult discus requiring at least 10G of water each. I like to keep Cardinal Tetra's as dither fish and plenty of cory's especialy Cory Sterbia. I also like a fully planted tank as this helps to keep the Nitrates under control. It is also good to have as fine as possible Pea Gravel at about a depth of 40mm though this will require plenty of gravel cleaning. Hope you have fun.
