Digital thermometer

I got this digital thermometer with a tank packet, but it doesn't say where to put it. If I put it on the outside of the tank, it would be affected by air temperature. If I put it on the inside, I'd have to put it on the back of the tank because of the adhesive. How would I read it with plants in the way? So where do I put it?

Hi val

This kind of thermometer goes on the outside of the tank, just below the water level. It will be affected by the room temperature, but not much. You can always get a in tank type.
